Navigating life with skin conditions, especially when they affect the scalp, can even turn a routine haircut into a challenge.

Living with a scalp condition adds complexity to routine haircuts, but the right hairdresser can make it a seamless experience

Stand tall.

You're not alone

There are many people out there who are going through the same skin conditions on their scalp.

For instance, it is estimated that approximately 80% of people with Psoriasis experience scalp involvement at some point during their lives1. Actinic Keratosis of the face and scalp is a fairly common condition2 as well as Atopic Dermatitis that indeed can affect the scalp too3. Take control of your condition and don’t let it control you. Always remember that your condition does not define you.

You have the same right to feel comfortable and confident as anyone else. Recognized hairdressers are here to support you, providing a safe pair of hands.

Essential Insights

Speak Your Mind

The more information you share with your hairdresser, the better.

Communicating your specific needs and preferences empowers your hair stylist to tailor their approach just for you. This open dialogue ensures a personalized experience that leaves you looking and feeling your best.

Gentle Handling

Your hair stylist should be gentle, especially when using brushes and combs. “Gentle” is the key word in dealing with sensitive scalp conditions.

Recognized hairdressers will avoid excessive brushing or tools that might irritate your scalp.

Find the Right Fit

Ensuring your comfort and satisfaction with your hairdresser is essential. If you find that your stylist isn't quite meeting your expectations or doesn't fully understand your needs, it's important to seek out a professional who will.

Plan Together
