Óscar talks about his experience with psoriasis.
Óscar was diagnosed with the disease approximately 20 years ago. At first, he began to notice that there were areas that itched, but he didn't care until he noticed more and more wounds on his skin that were not common.
At that time he decided to go to the dermatologist, who diagnosed him with psoriasis and told him that there was no concrete cure for it, since it was a stress-related pathology.
"My dream is to look in the mirror and see thatI don't have any type of skin damage"
From his experience, he recommends visiting professionals and not investigating in search engines, seeking information from associations that help people with psoriasis to learn about the disease and live with it.
October 29 is World Psoriasis Day and we want to give a voice to a community that suffers not only physically, but also socially and emotionally, together we can raise awareness about Óscar's disease, to continue fighting to make his dream come true, as well like that of the other 125 million patients affected by the disease.
